All set for LG elections

The by-elections on local government seats in 25 districts of Balochistan will take place today (Sunday), according to the spokesperson of the Election Commission of Balochistan. A tough contest is expected in 51 electoral wards among candidates from various political parties and independent contenders.

The spokesperson stated that a total of 167 candidates are contesting in these 51 wards. The candidates include both nominees from political parties and independents. These elections are being held to fill seats that were vacated due to various reasons.
