The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Composite Circle team arrested the alleged kingpin of the Chinioti Gang, a human smuggler.

Six out of the 11 accused gang members have been taken into custody, and efforts are underway to apprehend the remaining five suspects through ongoing raids. Acting on the directives of Deputy Director FIA Composite Circle Umar Farooq, SHO police station FIA Sub-Inspector Ajmal Hussain raided Chenab Nagar, Chiniot, and arrested Waqas Riyaz, the notorious leader of the Chiniot gang. He has been involved in human trafficking and has duped innocent citizens out of millions of rupees.

The gang's modus involved luring victims with false promises to travel to Europe, but instead, they would provide them with fake documents and disappear with the money.
