Measures to ensure foreign engineers' security

A high-level meeting under the supervision of SSP Traffic Tari Khan was held on Friday regarding the security of the projects, accommodation and transportation of foreign engineers working at different places in the Hazara Division.

SP CTD, SP Special Branch, SP Cantt, SP Motorway Gilgit and Hazara, DSP SSU, DSP Cantt, DSP Mirpur and DSP Galiyat, District Security Branch were present in the meeting. IB, and officers from other law enforcement agencies were also in attendance.

The security of various projects being carried out by foreign engineers in Hazara, as well as the movement of engineers along roads like the motorway or GT road and the security of their residence was discussed in the meeting.

It was decided at the meeting that special points will be established, and forces will be deployed that will remain active 24 hours a day to ensure there are no untoward incidents. In addition to this, it was decided that the search and strike operation on the motorway will be continued on both sides of the road. Repairs will be made to the safety wall and fence of the motorway, and the entire road will be surveilled using by sniper or drone.
