Watch: Jokic's incredible 66-ft three-pointer in win over Kings

Nikola Jokic's 66-ft three-pointer highlights his fifth straight triple-double as the Nuggets defeat the Kings 132-123

Nikola Jokic dazzled once again as the Denver Nuggets overcame the Sacramento Kings 132-123, with the Serbian star recording his fifth successive triple-double in the process.

It was Jokic's audacious three-pointer from 66ft at the end of the third quarter that captured the attention of fans and pundits alike.

With just 1.7 seconds remaining and the Nuggets leading 110-85, Jokic, with little hesitation, launched the ball from deep.

The crowd erupted as the shot swished through the net.

The 29-year-old centre top-scored for the Nuggets with a staggering 35 points, 22 rebounds, and a season-high 17 assists, further solidifying his place among the NBA's elite.

In the process, Jokic joined Philadelphia 76ers legend Wilt Chamberlain as just the second player in NBA history to achieve 35 points, 20 rebounds, and 15 assists in a single game, an extraordinary feat showcasing his all-round dominance.

Though his team-mates mobbed him in celebration, Jokic remained humble. "When you play, you want to make every shot," he said. "I took it to make it and I did make it. It's a lucky shot, not really a high-percentage shot, but I took it to make it. It's three points. It's going to help us."

The victory against the Kings marked another significant achievement for the Nuggets, with Jokic continuing to prove why he's one of the league’s most valuable players.

Joker also became one of the 5 NBA all-star starters selected from the Western Conference on Thursday.

Highlighting his great body of work, the NBA also posted a reel on their instagram, showcasing some of the best three-pointers from Jovic's NBA career.
