Search under way after four cops kidnapped

MIRANSHAH:

Police in the South Waziristan district launched a massive search operation for the recovery of four policemen, who were kidnapped by unidentified attackers from a check post in the Umar Raghzai area of the Sararogha tehsil on Thursday.

Though, the district police officer Arshad Khan, did not respond to the journalists' call for details of the incident, locals said that heavy contingents of police and paramilitary FC has reached the scene and cordoned off the area as part of the operation to recover the kidnapped persons.

Sources said unidentified persons attacked the police post in S Waziristan and kidnapped three policemen.
