Indian actress Urvashi Rautela has clarified the controversy surrounding her viral bathroom video from 2024, revealing it was a scene from her upcoming movie Ghuspaitya.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Rautela said the video was released with the consent of the film’s producers, who faced financial difficulties. “The producers were in dire straits, with mounting debts forcing them to sell their land. They approached our team, seeking permission to release the scene early as a promotional strategy,” she explained.
Rautela added that the video served as a warning to young girls to stay vigilant and highlighted that it was a calculated move to promote the film. “It wasn’t anything controversial; it was just a scene from the movie released for publicity,” she said.
The actress, known for her Bollywood debut in Singh Saab the Great, has appeared in several hit films, including Hate Story 4, Sanam Re, Kaabil, and Pagalpanti. Her upcoming movie, Daku Maharaj, is already generating buzz among fans.
