Senator Faisal Vawda, reacting to reports of negotiations between the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and the government falling apart, has stated that these talks were merely a joke to begin with.
He highlighted that he had previsoulsly predicted the ffailure of the talks since the PTI and the government share the same goal: to keep the PTI founding chairman in jail.
Faisal Vawda emphasised that sincerity is essential for negotiations, but it seems both the government and PTI have a common objective.
He further remarked, "Those waiting for a 'Trump card' are now wandering around with placards, yet the nation still fails to understand the reality of the situation."
The Senator criticised PTI's past policies, pointing out that the party remained onboard with the government from the 18th to the 26th constitutional amendment.
He asserted that all hardships are being created specifically for the PTI founder, while the rest of the leadership has been spared any significant trials.
According to Faisal Vawda, the entire scenario appears to be part of a pre-arranged strategy, with negotiations being conducted only as a formality, while the real purpose lies elsewhere.
