Nine Inch Nails is set to return to the stage with the announcement of its upcoming Peel It Back Tour. The Grammy-winning alternative rock band, led by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, revealed the global tour on Wednesday.
The tour will kick off on June 15 in Dublin, Ireland, before arriving in North America on August 6. Stops include major cities such as Chicago, Boston, Nashville, Toronto, and Los Angeles. This marks Nine Inch Nails’ first live performances since their 2022 tour, which visited both the U.S. and the U.K.
The Peel It Back Tour follows a successful run in 2022, where the band’s U.S. finale in Cleveland received critical acclaim. Cleveland.com praised the performance as "one of the greatest and most singular concerts in the band's history." The 2022 tour included a mix of headlining shows and appearances at major festivals.
Nine Inch Nails has been a pioneering force in alternative rock since its debut in 1989 with the release of their first album, Pretty Hate Machine. Over the decades, the band has sold more than 30 million records worldwide and released 11 studio albums. Their most recent projects include the double album Ghosts V: Together and Ghosts VI: Locusts, which debuted in 2020.
Known for their intense live performances and innovative music, Nine Inch Nails has been a critical and commercial success. Their influence extends beyond music, with Reznor and Ross earning Academy Awards and Golden Globes for their work on film scores, including The Social Network and Soul.
Tickets for the Peel It Back Tour are expected to go live startin January 29, with fans eager to see the band back on stage after a three-year hiatus.
