TikToker Charles Smith indicted after filming himself spraying pesticide on grocery store produce

TikToker Charles Smith, aka Wolfie Kahletti, faces felony charges after spraying bug spray on produce in Walmart.

TikToker Charles Smith, better known as Wolfie Kahletti, has been indicted on multiple charges after a disturbing prank video went viral.

Smith, 27, was arrested in December 2024 following an incident at a Walmart in Mesa, Arizona, where he filmed himself spraying bug spray on produce, including fruits, vegetables, and rotisserie chickens. The video, which Smith later posted to his TikTok, has led to felony charges including burglary and adding harmful substances to food.

According to the Maricopa County Attorney's office, Smith faces two felony charges: one count of burglary in the third degree and two counts of adding poison or other harmful substances to food, drink, or medicine. Additionally, he has been charged with one count of endangerment and criminal damage, as the contaminated food, valued at $900, had to be discarded.

Smith, who is known for posting pranks and shock content, filmed himself picking up a can of Hot Shot Ultra Bed Bug and Flea Killer from a Walmart shelf, spraying it on various food items, and sharing the footage online. After receiving backlash from viewers, Smith returned to the store to collect the contaminated products.

The Mesa Police Department has warned that reckless actions disguised as pranks can be dangerous, emphasizing the seriousness of Smith's actions. Smith's attorney has confirmed that he pleaded not guilty to the charges, but this incident highlights the growing concern over the potential consequences of viral stunts for social media.
