Kanye West announces YZY women’s line
Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, has announced the launch of a new YZY women’s line.
The rapper and fashion designer shared the news on social media, stating, “YZY women’s coming next.” In the same post, Ye issued a warning to competitors in the clothing industry, urging those not affiliated with Yeezy to “be afraid, be very afraid.”
Ye also took aim at Adidas, accusing the company of exploiting his platform and ignoring his creative vision. He criticized Adidas for halting the production of Foam Runners and Yeezy Slides during the COVID-19 pandemic, only to later replicate those designs. Ye expressed frustration with those close to him who urged him to return to Adidas for financial reasons, claiming they didn’t care about his freedom or vision.
In a passionate declaration, Ye stated, “Now my vision is coming to life,” and voiced his determination to challenge the fashion industry. He added, “I have a John Wick vendetta against every fashion company,” referencing his fierce pursuit of creative independence.
This announcement follows Ye’s recent Instagram post in which he shared how his daughter, North West, reignited his passion for music, leading him to create beats for her album, BULLY.
