Bollywood veteran Zeenat Aman shared a harrowing account of a near-death experience with her fans, recounting how she narrowly escaped a choking incident at her home.

Taking to Instagram, the former superstar revealed that the ordeal occurred after a long day of shooting when she attempted to take her blood pressure medication.

The tablet became lodged in her throat, making it difficult to breathe. Despite drinking water repeatedly, the tablet remained stuck, leaving her panicked.

"I couldn’t swallow it or spit it out," she shared, adding that her only company at home at the time was her pet. Repeated calls to her doctor went unanswered, prompting her to call Zahan Khan, who rushed to assist.
