In a photo carousel shared to Instagram recently, Maya Ali flaunted her lustrous trip to Qatar. A meetup with virtuoso Abida Parveen was part of the snapshot of things that made her trip memorable. Ali was filmed crouching on the floor as she engaged in a heartfelt conversation with Parveen, the two artists smiling and holding hands.

"Some moments are truly unforgettable. A beautiful day in Qatar filled with love, warmth, great food, celebrations, and endless laughter. Meeting the living legend Abida Parveen jee, a moment I'll cherish for life. Her soulful words, 'Jo hai tera lab javey ga kar k koi bahana', felt so real in that moment," Ali recalled in the caption of her post.

The Mann Mayal actor stunned in geometrically patterned bridalwear, which she wore at a fashion showcase held in the city. Thanking the designer and director of the studio, she wrote, "Mohsin Naveed Ranjha and Abubakar Naveed Ranjha, you two hold a special place in my heart and always will. Congratulations on a fantastic show in Doha!"

But the ramp wasn't all she strutted across while abroad. Ali also donned a T-shirt, jeans, and leather jacket as she explored the streets of Doha with friends and peers. A magnificent backdrop of landmarks lined her photos. "And the last picture, it reminds me of 'Chal chaliye duniya dey uss nukre, jithey banda na bande di zaat Hovey'," she wrote, blithely posing in a convertible for the final shot.

While she expressed gratitude for her glamorous life, her followers showered her with love in the comments section. "It's good to see you smiling," a user noted. "You're absolutely on fire in your posts - stunning and unstoppable! Big, big fan," another user gushed.

Among those generously sending out hearts were industry peers Sajal Ali and Yumna Zaidi. Others had much to say on the sweet interaction with Parveen, with many enthralled over seeing "two talented artists in one frame".

"OMG the greatest Abida jee and you, love this picture so much," one user exclaimed. "Seeing this picture of you with Abida Parveen jee is honestly making me tear up. This is just too precious for words," confessed another.

Earlier, Parveen announced that she was gearing up for a performance in Qatar. "I look forward to meeting you all on January 16, 2025 at the iconic Museum of Islamic Art, where poetry will transcend into music, and where music will speak a language that words alone cannot express. Come join this celebration of art, culture, and the stories that connect us across time and traditions," she wrote on Instagram.
