Megyn Kelly joins MAGA criticism of Lauren Sánchez’s inauguration outfit: 'She looked like a hooker'

Megyn Kelly has sparked a heated debate over Lauren Sánchez’s outfit at President Donald Trump’s inauguration, calling the attire “absurd” and accusing Sánchez of showing a lack of dignity. Sánchez, accompanied by her fiancé Jeff Bezos, turned heads at the Capitol with her striking white Alexander McQueen pantsuit. The ensemble featured a wide-leg trouser paired with a fitted blazer, but it was her plunging, corset-inspired top that quickly became the focal point of the event.
On Monday's broadcast, Kelly, alongside Emily Jashinsky and Eliana Johnson, expressed her disapproval. "She dresses like a prostitute, and she looked like a hooker at the inauguration," Kelly remarked. "She wore a corset and she had her boobs on display. I can’t with this woman." Kelly didn’t mince words as she criticized Sánchez's choice of revealing attire, emphasizing that the occasion called for a more reserved appearance.
Kelly also pointed out the attention Sánchez received from her seatmate, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, whose gaze appeared fixated on Sánchez’s cleavage during the ceremony. “All over X was a picture of Mark Zuckerberg [looking at her], and I don’t blame him,” Kelly said. “This is absurd. She could not even keep them covered up for a day.”

While Kelly was equally critical of Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) for his casual gray shorts and hoodie, she made it clear that Sánchez’s outfit would garner the most attention. "Have some dignity and some respect for your setting," Kelly argued. "No one should be talking about your tits. They should be talking about the inauguration."
The fashion spotlight, however, wasn’t all negative. The inauguration also saw some fashion triumphs, particularly from Melania Trump, who wowed in a tailored navy coat and pencil skirt by designer Adam Lippes. Vance, in a custom Oscar de la Renta peony coat, also made a statement. Kelly noted the change in D.C.’s fashion scene, pointing to the transparency of high-profile brands like Oscar de la Renta. “It’s a vibe shift if I’ve ever seen one,” Jashinsky added, acknowledging the shift from previous administrations.
In the broader fashion discourse, Kelly lauded the First Lady for embodying true class and sophistication. “It’s a delight to see somebody who is incredibly stylish and sophisticated and classy resume this role,” Kelly commented, referencing the first lady’s elegant appearance at the event. She also voiced her frustration with fashion magazines like Vogue, which had attempted to elevate figures like Jill Biden as fashion icons, while Melania Trump, a former supermodel, was never featured on the cover.
