Crackdown launched on illegal fuel sale

The civil defence department launched a crackdown on illegal fuel sale and decanting in multiple areas, arresting more than a dozen individuals.

According to the official sources, raids were carried out in Bangla Hussain Shah, Jehanabad, Qainchi Mor, Iqbal Colony, Millatabad, Johar Colony, Factory Area Chowk, Jhaal Chakiyan Chowk, and Sobhaga.

During the operations, the authorities apprehended Arif, Iftikhar Hussain, Sikandar, Iftikhar, Farooq, Abdullah, Irfan, Ehsanullah, Rizwan, Ansar, Qaiser, Shehzad, and Muhammad Saleem.

The team also seized petrol machines and equipments used for illegal gas refilling.
