Elon Musk’s son X steals the spotlight at Trump’s pre-inauguration rally

Elon Musk's four-year-old son, X Æ A-12 (pronounced ex-ash-ay-twelve), charmed the crowd at President-elect Donald Trump’s pre-inauguration rally on Sunday night. 

The SpaceX and Tesla CEO, appearing as the co-head of the newly established Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), brought X onstage, where the toddler enthusiastically captured the audience’s attention.

As Musk outlined his plans to reduce federal spending and streamline government operations, X jumped, waved his arms, and mimicked his father’s triumphant gestures. “Little X just followed me on stage here,” Musk, 53, told the crowd. “He’s a very enthusiastic supporter, as you can see.”

During his speech, Musk pledged to cut federal spending by up to $2 trillion and emphasized DOGE’s mission to “Make America Great Again” and “Make America strong for centuries.” Musk also revealed that the agency is actively recruiting engineers and aims to expand its staff to 100 employees soon.

The rally reflected the tone of Trump’s upcoming administration, with a clear preference for Republican appointees. Ethics experts Norman Eisen and Virginia Canter, after being denied positions, have launched the State Democracy Defenders Fund to monitor DOGE’s activities.

President-elect Trump praised his new administration on Truth Social, highlighting the hiring of over 1,000 employees while advising against recommending anti-Trump Republicans.

With both Musk and Trump promising bold changes, the energetic antics of little X offered a lighter, human moment at the rally, making headlines and warming hearts alike.
