Taylor Swift and Caitlin Clark NFL sighting draws criticism from Skip Bayless

Sports commentator Skip Bayless sparked controversy after criticizing WNBA star Caitlin Clark for attending an NFL game with Taylor Swift. 

The Indiana Fever player was spotted with the global pop icon at Arrowhead Stadium during the Kansas City Chiefs’ AFC Divisional matchup against the Houston Texans.

Bayless, known for his outspoken opinions, took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his disapproval of the pairing. "WAIT, CAITLIN CLARK IS UP IN THE ARROWHEAD BOX WITH TAYLOR SWIFT??? CAITLIN, YOU DON'T NEED TO BE SEEN WITH HER. YOU'RE BIGGER THAN SHE IS. JUST STAY ON YOUR OWN PATH," he posted.

The sighting of Clark, a rising basketball star, alongside Swift, who has been a consistent presence at NFL games since her relationship with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce became public, quickly drew widespread attention online. Fans of both figures dismissed Bayless’ comments, praising Clark and Swift for enjoying the game together.

While Bayless fanned the flames of debate, neither Clark nor Swift has responded publicly. The Chiefs continued their winning streak, defeating the Texans 23-14, securing a spot in the AFC Championship on January 26.
