Environment dept rolls out uniform for staff

The Punjab Environment Protection and Climate Change Department (EPCCD) has made it mandatory for all officers and employees to wear uniforms from January 20 (Monday).

All employees and officers will be required to wear their uniforms during office timings, according to a regular gazette notification.

Male officers and employees will wear dark green shirts with two mandatory pockets. The right-side pocket will display the individual's name and position, while the left-side pocket will showcase the name of the institution.

Additionally, the left arm of the shirt will proudly feature the flag of Pakistan and the institution's logo. The shoulders will be adorned with badges.

The pants will be black, accompanied by a black belt, and will also have two extra pockets for convenience. The shoes will be black; the cap and hat have been prescribed as dark green. Rank badges made of gold-coloured metals, featuring a poplar tree and its leaves will be placed on the shoulders.
