With the launch of his creative initiative Borderless World, Atif Aslam had many exciting things to share with the world in his recent vlog on YouTube. One fact that took fans by surprise was his close connection to actor couple Hamza Ali Abbasi and Naimal Khawar.

As Atif strode the red carpet at the event, he ran into Hamza and Naimal, spicing up the encounter with an anecdote. "This story is fantastic," he began. Gesturing at Hamza, he said, "This is my Haji brother, as in we have performed the Holy Pilgrimage together. This was back when he wasn't married."

Sweetly dubbing Naimal as his "cute sister", Atif added that at the time, she couldn't connect to her now-husband. The couple then primarily communicated using Atif's phone, eagerly discussing marriage plans and Hamza going bald for Hajj.

Admitting that the Aadat singer became the medium of communication between him and his now-wife, Hamza added that he was out of basic toiletries such as soap, brush, and more during his journey. However, Atif provided him with all the essentials. "Wingman in Hajj. Bond for life," Hamza remarked.

Hamza and Naimal tied the knot in 2019. In an old conversation with Imran Ashraf, she shared, "We met on the shoot of my first film, Verna, and the meeting lasted two seconds. Then, he texted me about my art. It was a painting. After that, he came to my exhibition [and the rest is history.]"

As for Atif, the singer was easily the brightest star at his star-studded event. The launch hosted appearances from influencers, actors, and singers alike. Prominent personalities like Shahveer Jafry, Mawra Hocane, Emmad Irfani, and Faris Shafi were present amid the crowd and also greeted the camera.

Atif's initiative will begin with a season of five to six episodes, putting participating local talent on show. "Anyone who's skilled in the terms of music, lyrics, videography, directing, or as actor, I'm accessible to them," he promised, announcing an audition call.

"I'm excited about the fact that after watching this, new musicians would indulge the belief that if the person performing can do it, so can they," the singer hoped.
