Louisiana TikTok star Terryon Thomas, known to his 8 million followers as "Mr. Prada," has been formally indicted by a grand jury on charges of first-degree murder. The indictment stems from the September 2024 killing of 69-year-old Baton Rouge therapist William Abraham.

The grand jury's decision, announced on January 16, 2025, allows the case to proceed to trial, where Thomas could face the death penalty if convicted of the most serious charges. In addition to murder, Thomas has been charged with aggravated criminal damage to property, obstruction of justice, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Abraham’s body was discovered on September 29, 2024, wrapped in a tarp and dumped along a highway in rural Tangipahoa Parish. According to authorities, Thomas was apprehended in Dallas, Texas, while attempting to flee using Abraham’s vehicle.

The murder reportedly took place in Thomas’ Baton Rouge apartment, where witnesses claimed to have seen the influencer struggling to carry the blue tarp containing Abraham’s body. A search of the apartment revealed sharp objects, weapons, and a large amount of the victim’s blood.

Abraham’s cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma to the head, neck, and shoulders. Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Gerald Sticker described the crime as “a very physical, very violent death.”

Thomas, known for his bold fashion sense and luxury brand showcases on TikTok, amassed a significant following for his unique content. Before his arrest, his social media presence often attracted attention for its authenticity and edginess.

Abraham’s attorney, Jarrett Ambeau, expressed shock and grief over the therapist’s death:

“I’m absolutely devastated and completely surprised that something like that could have happened to a man who I believed to be so tender, so gentle, and have such a servant’s heart.”

In addition to his therapy practice, Abraham had previously served as a Catholic priest. Sheriff Sticker noted that a past accusation against Abraham for inappropriate behavior during a therapy session had been dropped years earlier.

The indictment also follows concerns over Thomas’ behavior before the murder. Fans had noticed a shift in his TikTok content, with the influencer alluding to feelings of loneliness and making drastic changes to his appearance, including shaving his head and eyebrows.

Thomas remains in custody without bond as he awaits trial. A date for the proceedings has not yet been announced
