Wendy Williams, along with her niece, joined The Breakfast Club to discuss her health, ongoing conservatorship, and thoughts on Diddy, who is facing multiple charges, including sex trafficking.
During the conversation, Charlamagne mentioned Wendy’s alleged firing from Hot 97 as proof of her mental clarity. Wendy responded by saying, "As far as Diddy, Diddy will go to prison for life, people," adding that she knows things about him from the past. "And you wanna know what? It’s about time, people. It is about time. Diddy done."
In a prior statement to the Daily Mail in October 2023, Wendy also expressed, "It is about time" when asked about Diddy.
Addressing her health and conservatorship, Wendy clarified that she is not cognitively impaired and can make her own decisions, although she feels trapped. "I am not cognitively impaired, but I feel like I am in prison," she explained. "I’m in New York City. … I’m in this place where the people are in their 90s and their 80s and their 70s."
Wendy accused her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, of exploiting the conservatorship and controlling her finances. She also revealed that she doesn’t have access to a laptop or iPad and can only make one-way calls to her loved ones.
Williams was officially diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and primary progressive aphasia in 2023, according to a press release.
