Travis Kelce praises girlfriend Taylor Swift for support off the field: "I couldn't be happier"

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, 35, has expressed gratitude for the support he receives from his girlfriend, singer Taylor Swift, 35. In an interview on The Stephen A. Smith Show on Wednesday, January 15, Kelce says of his relationship with Swift, "I'm enjoying all aspects of life. Me and Taylor are happy.” 

"I couldn't be happier to have that confidence and that comfort off the field and all the support I could ever ask for in the stadium," Kelce continues.

When asked if his relationship with Swift has "added to [Kelce's] football talent," Kelce discusses the positive impact of his relationship with Taylor Swift, stating that being in a strong relationship provides the support needed to focus on his football career,

“I think personally, that's the beauty of being in a very strong relationship is that you get that support to be able to come in and focus on your craft, focus on being the best version of you.”

“That's why I wanted to be at the concert, supporting her and being there for her, making sure she feels comfortable and supported in everything she's doing in life,” he continues, highlighting the importance of being there for Swift during concerts.

“I think I'm as focused as I've ever been on my job and being the best player that I could possibly be week in and week out for this team,"

“It's because I don't have to worry about things off the field."

Kelce's relationship with Swift has garnered significant public attention, with Swift attending several of his games this season.
