NAB initiates Rs1.172b recovery
The bureau has initiated the process of returning Rs1.172 billion to the victims of the housing scandal.
LAHORE:
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore has enabled the recovery and disbursement of Rs510.12 million from an illegal private housing society, La Villa De Paris, among 887 victims holding 3,869 claims.
At the occasion, Lahore NAB Director General Amjad Majeed Aulakh said that by adopting a pragmatic strategy of mutual settlement, the bureau has initiated the process of returning Rs1.172 billion to the victims of the housing scandal.
He said that on June 14, 2023, the bureau had launched investigations into the scandal involving cheating and defrauding.
