Free ride on CM's plane lands two officers in trouble

Sindh Chief Secretary Asif Haider Shah stated that it was a test flight

KARACHI:

The Sindh government has suspended two grade 17 officers for taking an unauthorised free ride from Islamabad to Karachi on chief minister's official plane.

Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) Section Officer VIP Flight Syed Faraz Ali and Sindh House Protocol Officer Wajid Shah have been suspended for using official aircraft of the chief minister to transport their families without permission. Sindh Chief Secretary Asif Haider Shah stated that it was a test flight from Islamabad to Karachi, and that the officers had no clearance to travel on it. Provincial chief secretary has instructed the S&GAD to issue a formal notification to suspend both the officers.
