RAWALPINDI:

A fruit vendor on the Rawalpindi district court premises has demonstrated the truth of the saying, "Necessity is the mother of invention," by using an innovative approach to boost his sales. The vendor has transformed a nearby tree into an eye-catching display by decorating it with oranges.

The decoration creates the illusion of a fruit-bearing tree. The unique display has quickly become a favourite among court visitors, drawing them in to purchase his fruit.

The vendor, who has operated his cart under the tree's shade for months, shared that the idea came to him as a way to attract more customers.

By hanging the fruit on the tree, he has created an enticing visual that not only grabs attention but also appeals to the curiosity of passersby, particularly students.

Many stop to buy and enjoy the fresh oranges on the spot, complemented by a mix of black salt and black pepper that the vendor provides.

The strategy has proven remarkably successful, with the vendor selling his entire stock of fruit by evening.

The approach has also resonated with other courthouse visitors, including female consumers, who appreciate the vendor's creativity.

Thanks to this simple yet effective idea, the vendor has seen a noticeable increase in his daily income.
