Imran moves IHC for acquittal in gift case
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his spouse, Bushra Bibi, have moved the Islamabad High Court (IHC) for their acquittal in the Toshakhana 2 case.
They are appealing to the IHC to nullify a trial court ruling made on November 14 and acquit them in the case after the special judge central had rejected their acquittal plea and decided to continue their trial. The appeal has made the special judge central, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and others as respondents.
The special judge central is recording testimonies after indictment of the accused.
