Will Cain to replace Neil Cavuto on Fox News with new show ‘The Will Cain Show’
Will Cain, a popular co-host of the weekend edition of Fox & Friends, will take over the 4 p.m. slot at Fox News Channel, a position previously anchored by Neil Cavuto for many years.
This change is part of a broader series of programming shifts on both Fox News and its sister outlet, Fox Business Network. Cain will debut in his new weekday role on January 21, with his program, 'The Will Cain Show,' replacing 'Your World.'
Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott expressed excitement about Cain’s new role, highlighting his years of experience as both a broadcaster and a lawyer. She noted that his insights would be valuable in what is expected to be another significant news cycle in 2025. Cain’s new show will bring a fresh format, offering a comprehensive look at the news of the day with a podcast-style approach.
Cain’s final appearance on Fox & Friends Weekend will be on January 18. Charlie Hurt, the opinion editor of The Washington Times, will replace him on weekends, giving up his editorial position to take on the new role.
Cain’s background includes hosting a daily radio show at ESPN and appearing on First Take. He has also worked as a political analyst for CNN and as a host at The Blaze. Cain is a law school graduate from the University of Texas and holds an undergraduate degree from Pepperdine University.
In addition to Cain's shift, other programming changes were announced. 'The Fox Report' will move to 3 p.m. and expand to two hours on weekends, while 'The Big Weekend Show' will also extend to two hours starting at 6 p.m. On Fox Business, Degen McDowell will expand her role on 'The Big Money Show.'
