Fatboy SSE shares arrest footage on Instagram after emotional plea about his family situation.

Rapper and comedian Fatboy SSE, born Tyriq Thomas Kimbrough, made headlines on Sunday, January 12, 2025, when footage of his arrest spread across social media. 

The 31-year-old entertainer from Irvington, New Jersey, posted a clip on his Instagram showing himself being detained. 

In the video, Fatboy reassured his followers, saying, "I'm gucci. I'm good… I'm hungry," and adding in the caption, “DONT WORRY IM STR8 THE DEVIL CANT WIN [100 percent emoji]. ALWAYS TEN TOES DOWN [exclamation mark emoji] BE BACK SOON.” 

The reason for his arrest remains unclear, and fans reacted with mixed responses. Some speculated it was part of a skit, while others expressed concern.

Earlier, Fatboy SSE had made waves after sharing a distressing video about his former partner, Tiana Kimbrough, and their children. He revealed that his family had moved into a homeless shelter, prompting a public outpouring of support and speculation. 

In the video, Fatboy appeared visibly upset, urgently trying to locate his children. The couple, married in 2019, has three children together, but their relationship has faced increasing scrutiny. Tiana, a social media influencer, has shared parts of their family life, which has been closely followed by fans.
