Netflix announced on January 12 that the Duchess of Sussex had requested for the premiere of her show With Love, Meghan to be pushed ahead to March 4 in light of the Los Angeles wildfires that continue to ravage the city.

The show, which was originally slated for a January 15 release, centers around Meghan Markle's lifestyle in her $29 million Montecito mansion, including her signature recipes, gardening tips and hosting traditions.

In a statement issued by Netflix, the Duchess said, “I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California".

The series which involves cameos from Prince Harry, also features special guests namely, Roy Choi, Mindy Kaling and Alice Waters. It is also reported that in the show, Markle will use several products from her brand, American Riviera Orchard which she soft-launched in 2024.

Since the wildfires spread last week, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been spotted helping their community. The couple was seen passing out meals to the affectees of the fires and meeting with first responders.

As they live about 90 miles north of Los Angeles, the Sussexes have not been directly impacted by the Palisades Fire nor the Eaton Fire in northeast LA. In a bid to help, the pair generously opened up their mansion to friends and family who had to evacuate.
