Cam Newton leaps from speeding boat onto moving helicopter in wild stunt
Cam Newton is known for his incredible athleticism on the football field, but he’s now taking it to extreme new heights on the latest season of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.
In a scene that’s gone viral, the former NFL quarterback leaped from a moving boat onto a helicopter during a high-intensity challenge.
Newton managed to grab the helicopter’s landing skid and pull himself into the chopper, earning praise from his fellow contestants.
“You see that? Pressed himself up on a helicopter,” said contestant Stephen Baldwin in the viral clip, clearly impressed by Newton’s daring feat.
The challenge is just one of many in the third season of the Fox reality competition, which pushes celebrities through military-style training and grueling tasks.

Newton, along with 15 other contestants, is tested in various high-pressure situations, all while maintaining an air of composure. Other famous athletes in the competition include former NFL wide receiver Golden Tate, Olympic swimmer Nathan Adrian, and soccer star Landon Donovan.
Newton is a former NFL MVP, having played 11 seasons, with 10 years spent with the Carolina Panthers and one with the New England Patriots. He led the Panthers to a Super Bowl appearance in 2016, though they were defeated by the Denver Broncos.
Newton hasn’t officially retired but has not played in the NFL since 2022.
Despite his time away from the NFL, Newton’s skills and strength are on full display as he competes alongside other high-profile athletes on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.
