Tom Holland’s dad confirms Zendaya engagement, reveals proposal details
Dominic Holland, father of actor Tom Holland, has officially confirmed his son’s engagement to Zendaya in a blog post on his Patreon account titled “That Engagement.”
The English comedian and author shared details about Tom’s thoughtful and well-planned proposal, which took place in a private setting during the holiday season.
Dominic revealed that Tom, 28, approached Zendaya’s father, Kazembe Ajamu Coleman, months ago to ask for his blessing. “Tom was incredibly well prepared,” he wrote. “He purchased a ring, spoke with her father, and planned every detail of the proposal, from the setting to what he would say.”
The engagement, which was rumored after Zendaya, also 28, flaunted a dazzling 5.02-carat Jessica McCormack ring at the 2025 Golden Globes, was confirmed by sources close to the couple. The proposal reportedly took place between Christmas and New Year’s 2024 at one of Zendaya’s homes.
Dominic praised his son and future daughter-in-law, writing, “Even though show business is a messy place for relationships, I am completely confident they will make a successful union.”
The couple, who first played love interests in the 2017 film Spider-Man: Homecoming, have been in a public relationship since July 2021. They recently solidified their bond with matching tattoos, with Zendaya opting for a tiny “T” on her wrist and Tom getting a “Z” on his ribcage.
Fans are thrilled for the beloved Hollywood duo, who continue to maintain a balance of privacy and public adoration.
