FIA probes spread of doctored picture of CM Maryam

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) launched action against those involved in doctoring pictures of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz through AI and posted on social media to defame her, BBC reported on Friday.

According to a report, the FIA had prepared a list of social media accounts that were part of this campaign. According to an FIA statement, teams had been formed to investigate the case and identify where this content originated.
