An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) granted bail after arrest to 153 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activists on Friday, while rejecting
the bail pleas of 24 PTI workers in the D-Chowk protest case.
ATC Judge Abul Hasanat Zulqarnain heard the bail pleas of 177 PTI activists. Out of 48 accused against whom the cases were lodged at Karachi Company Police Station, the bail pleas of 43 were accepted and those of 5 accused rejected.
The court accepted the bail pleas against the surety bonds of Rs5,000. It had reserved the verdict on Thursday after the completion of arguments.
