Two accidents claim four lives

Four people were killed and three others suffered multiple injuries in two road mishaps in Abbottabad and Havelian. The injured were shifted to Ayub Hospital Complex where the condition of two victims was stated to be critical.

According to Rescue 1122, three of a family lost their lives when a van skidded into a deep ravine at Kokmang village in the Thandiyani area. Azam, his wife and his sister were killed, while Shakeel, Durmayan and his wife received multiple injuries and were rescued after hectic efforts.

Rescuers faced much inconvenience because of poor visibility. The bodies and the injured were shifted to Ayub Hospital Complex.

The second incident took place when a motorcyclist was knocked down and killed by a speed skid. The deceased was identified as 25-year-old Jamshaid of Rajoiya Havelian. Later, the dead body was handed over to the family after legal formalities.
