AJK CJ convenes SJC meeting on Jan 16

Azad Jammu and Kashmir Supreme Court Chief Justice Raja Saeed Akram Khan has convened separate meetings of Supreme Judicial Council and State Judicial Policy Making Committee to discuss establishment of consumer courts and dress code for the highest judiciary.

The meeting of the State Judicial Policy Making Committee has been convened on January 15 while the meeting of the Supreme Judicial Council has been convened on January 16.

The implementation of apex court decisions, matters related to ex-cadre detainees, administrative Hajj matters in the AJK High Court, establishment of consumer courts, matters related to district judges, dress code for the judiciary and the Service Tribunal Act are part of the agenda.

The agenda of the meeting of the judicial policy making committee has also been released.
