Sharjeel offers full support to traders, industrialists

Sindh Senior Minister for Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon has underlined the important role that traders, industrialists, and the business community play in the country's economy.

While speaking at a luncheon hosted by the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry in his honour on Thursday, the senior minister said that President Asif Ali Zardari, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah understand the importance of these sectors.

He acknowledged that traders and industrialists not only contribute the largest share of taxes but also provide employment to millions of people, making them vital to economic growth. "To boost employment and improve the country's economy, it is essential to offer maximum support and facilities to the business community," he added. Sharjeel also stated that the government is fully committed to addressing the issues faced by traders. He revealed that the government has extended an open invitation to investors to establish their own industrial zones.
