Next budget likely in first week of June

The federal government is expected to table the annual budget for the fiscal year 2025-26 in the first week of June.

The Ministry of Finance has released the schedule for the federal budget for the upcoming fiscal year.

According to the schedule, the ministry plans to present the federal budget in the first week of June. It has recommended finalizing all budget documents by the end of May.

The ministry has also proposed convening the National Economic Council meeting in the second week of May and the Planning Coordination Committee meeting in the first week of May.
