PTI's Qureshi, others indicted in May 9 case

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Punjab's provincial capital on Thursday indicted key PTI leaders including former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in a case related to inciting violence after the arrest for former prime minister Imran Khan on May 9, 2023.

ATC Judge Manzar Ali Gul read out the charge sheet filed against Qureshi, Yasmin Rashid, Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed, Omar Sarfraz Cheema and Sanam Javed in a courtroom inside Lahore Kot Lakhpat jail where Qureshi is currently detained.

All the accused pleaded not guilty and decided to contest the case.
