Govt orders dismantling of illegal transport hubs

Special Assistant on Transport Haji Rangeez Ahmed has said that illegal transport hubs should be dismantled immediately, while those that are not registered should be registered at once. He has said that the addas that have not been registered or renewed their license since years should do so immediately.

He directed the relevant authorities to take serious action against illegal, unregistered and unrenewed transport addas. "Registration and renewal will make it possible to significantly increase revenue of the department and province."

He expressed these views while chairing a meeting in his office regarding illegal transport addas. The meeting was attended by Secretary Provincial Transport Authority Akbar Iftikhar, Secretary Regional Transport Authority Peshawar Payo Khan.
