As the L.A County wildfires that erupted earlier this week continue to spread across Pacific Palisades, Altadena and Sylmar, production for several Hollywood projects had to be halted.

NBCUniversal said production has been suspended on HacksLootTedSuits: L.A. and Happy’s Place with Reba McEntire while Amazon rescheduled the production of Fallout's second season to Friday.

Production also shut down on Disney-20th for Doctor Odyssey, Grey’s Anatomy and Jimmy Kimmel Live while CBS Studios stopped production for the rest of the week..

As the fires close in on Burbank, the Warner Bros. studio lot iwas also closed halting production on Abbott Elementary, All-American and The Pitt, as well as projects that were scheduled for table-read and rehearsals.

The fire that started Tuesda morning has so far claimed 5 lives and displaced thousands due to evacuation orders. More than 10,000 acres have been destroyed in the Pacific Palisades area. Apart from production, other notable events and announcements in the industry have been cancelled or postponed  including the movie premieres for Unstoppable and Wolf Man, the BAFTA Tea, Critics' Choice Awards as well as Oscars 2025 nominee announcements.
