Chase Chrisley accused of assault at Atlanta sports bar during heated altercation
Reality TV star Chase Chrisley is under investigation for an alleged assault at Twin Peaks Sports Bar in Atlanta.
According to a police report obtained by TMZ, officers responded to a 911 call at around 7:30 PM on Monday. By the time they arrived, Chrisley had left the premises.
The bar's general manager accused Chrisley of becoming "drunk, disrespectful, and belligerent" during a heated encounter. The manager claimed he repeatedly asked Chrisley to leave, but the reality star allegedly refused and escalated the situation. Chrisley is accused of slapping the manager in the face twice.
The manager reported no injuries and declined medical attention but filed a police report naming Chrisley as the suspect for "simple assault." He also mentioned an employee identified Chrisley as a "well-known celebrity."
This incident adds to ongoing controversies surrounding the Chrisley family, as Chase's parents, Todd and Julie, serve federal prison sentences for tax evasion and fraud.
