School of Rock' stars Caitlin Hale and Angelo Massagli tie the knot
The band from School of Rock got back together—if only for a brief moment—to celebrate the wedding of two of the 2003 film's beloved co-stars.
Caitlin Hale, who played Marta, and Angelo Massagli, who portrayed Frankie, recently tied the knot at the Chateau Grande Hotel in East Brunswick, New Jersey.
The couple invited many of their former "classmates" from the movie to join the celebration, and the reunion was full of dancing, lip-syncing, and laughs. Rivkah Reyes, who played bassist Katie in the film, shared a TikTok montage capturing the fun, which featured cameos from other castmates, including Brian Falduto, Joey Gaydos Jr., Robert Tsai, Maryam Hassan, Aleisha Allen, and Cole Hawkins.
The video was set to Stevie Nicks' "Edge of Seventeen," a nod to the iconic scene in the movie where Joan Cusack’s character, Principal Mullins, drunkenly belts out the song with Jack Black's Dewey Finn.

Hale and Massagli first met while filming the movie in 2002 and remained friends over the years. They reconnected after Hale moved to Florida, where Massagli lives.
Their relationship grew from there, and as Massagli explained in 2021, the School of Rock cast keeps in touch through a group chat that has led to many meetups over the years.
Both Hale and Massagli have stepped away from Hollywood since their roles in the movie. Hale now works as an OB-GYN ultrasound technologist, while Massagli graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 2019.
