Goods worth thousands of rupees reduced to ashes

Two fires in separate incidents destroyed goods worth thousands; causes remain under investigation.

HYDERABAD:

In two separate fire incidents, thousands of rupees worth of goods were reduced to ashes. A fire broke out in flat of Tanveer Plaza located at Bhayi Khan Chowk, within the limits of City Police Station.

The owner, Imran, told the media that thousands of rupees worth of household items were burnt to ashes. Rescue personnel said the fire was caused by a short circuit.

Similarly, a mysterious fire broke out in a warehouse filled with hay, located near the shrine of Punjtan Shah in Noorani Basti, within the limits of Panjari Police Station.

The fire quickly engulfed the warehouse, burning thousands of bales of hay. Fire brigade personnel reached the spot and brought the fire under control after a four-hour effort.

According to fire brigade personnel, the warehouse belonged to a person named Ahmed Raza, but the cause of the fire could not be determined.
