The Anti-Vehicle Lifting Cell (AVLC) police caught a disabled car thief, Ali Raza, red-handed while he was stealing a car, acting on human intelligence and confidential information. The stolen car was recovered from the limits of the Sachal police station.
At the time of arrest, the accused was found to have fitted a fake number plate on the stolen car. Additionally, the police recovered his crutches from the vehicle. Investigations revealed that Raza would usually hand over the stolen vehicles in Shikarpur.
In a separate operation, the AVLC police arrested five accused; Fahad Jan, Ali Hussain, Akash Ali, Azhar Hussain, and Afaq Malik for allegedly selling and buying stolen cars. Police recovered a stolen car from North Nazimabad.
