Three burnt in kitchen fire caused by gas leakage

The police reached the spot and started the operation.

Three people were burnt in a kitchen fire due to gas leakage. They were shifted to the hospital after medical aid.

According to a police spokesperson, a family member lit a match which caused the incident due to a gas leakage in a house located in the area of Chungi No. 6 of Madina Town police station.

As a result, 44-year-old Azam, 41-year-old Naseer Ahmed and 45-year-old Tahir were burnt. The rescue team shifted them to the hospital while providing medical aid. The police reached the spot and started the operation.

Meanwhile, a 50-year-old man suffering from depression shot himself in the stomach and was taken to hospital after medical attention.

As per the details, 50-year-old Abdul Majeed, son of Nazir Ahmed, a resident of Ghousia Park area of Dijkot police station, stayed out of the house all night. He returned home in the morning where he shot himself in the stomach.
