Man held for allegedly blackmailing minor girl
The FIA Cybercrime Multan team conducted a raid in Faisalabad and arrested the accused who blackmailed a minor girl through indecent images and extorted money through a fake Tik Tok account.
The FIA sources said the accused Muhammad Ali Imran was arrested for sharing objectionable pictures and videos of an 11-year-old girl through a fake TikTok account.
The accused was also involved in threatening the victim girl and was blackmailing the girl for several months and demanding huge sums of money.
He had already received Rs.60,000.
A spokesman for the FIA Cybercrime said the accused received the money through a microfinance account. A mobile phone was recovered from the possession of the arrested accused Muhammad Ali Imran.
Meanwhile, IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar constituted a high-profile inquiry committee in which DIG Intelligence Special Branch Faisal Ali Raja was appointed as the head of the inquiry committee for the murder of three brothers and serious injuries to their cousin in Saddar Thandlianwala police station over long-standing enmity.
AIG Operations Punjab Zahid Nawaz Marwat and AIG Complaints Ehsanullah Chauhan are included in the inquiry committee.
