Aubrey Plaza’s husband, Jeff Baena, was remembered during the 2025 Golden Globes after his tragic passing at age 47. Plaza, 40, and Baena had been together for over a decade, tying the knot in 2021. The couple frequently collaborated on films, including Life After Beth and The Little Hours, showcasing their personal and professional synergy.
Baena, a respected filmmaker and screenwriter, was found at his Los Angeles home on Friday morning, with law enforcement confirming his death as a suicide. Known for his unique storytelling, Baena’s work included Horse Girl (2020) and Life After Beth (2014). He is survived by Plaza and his close family, including his parents, siblings, and stepfamily.
