A man shot and killed his cousin for asking for money to buy drugs. The police took possession of the body and shifted it to the hospital and started searching for the accused.
Police said 45-year-old Yakoob Hashim, who was addicted to drugs, asked his cousin Babar son of Jafar, a resident of Abadi Shamsher Kathye, for money for drugs in Abadi Noor area of police station Garh.
On which they had a bitter conversation, when Babur shot Yakoob with a twelve-bore gun and seriously injured him. He was shifted to the hospital in an injured condition where he died.
After receiving the information, the Garh Police reached the spot, took the body into custody and started searching for the accused.
Meanwhile, unknown persons sexually assaulted two women including a minor girl. After registering the cases, the police started raids to arrest the accused.
According to the police report, 16-year-old resident of Narwala bungalow was seduced by the accused Shahzad alias Kaka two months ago which left the victim pregnant.
When the family came to know about the pregnancy, they registered a case against the accused in the light of the medical report.
In another incident Ghulam Farid's wife was subjected to sexual assault by the accused Ammar in the town of Tandlianwala.
