Two women killed over matrimonial dispute

A dispute over the planned wedding of a young man and woman took a deadly turn in Jamshoro district on Saturday, resulting in killings of two women and injuries to five men.

The police told that 40-year-old Hakima Chandio, wife of Sikandar Chandio, and 50-year-old Sadori Chandio, wife of Qurban Chandio, were shot dead in the incident which occurred at a house in Kotri town. One, among five injured men shifted to Liaquat University Hospital is said to be in critical condition. Police have detained two suspects but the FIR is yet to be registered.
