Personal feud claims six lives in Peshawar

PESHAWAR:

As many as six persons were killed when their cars were ambushed in the limits of Peshawar's Machni Gate Police Station.

According to officials at the police station, the family of one Islam Ullah had been en route to a wedding function in two cars when assailants sprayed their vehicles with bullets near the Wananu Bridge, thus causing the six fatalities. Another six people were injured in the incident.

SSP Investigation Noor Jamal and Warsak SP Mukhtiar Ali reached the site along with operations and investigation officers soon after being notified of the incident. Police said the incident was a result of personal enmity.
