Home Dept cracks down on fake arms dealers

LAHORE:

The Punjab Home Department has launched a significant operation against fake arms dealers and repairers, imposing strict restrictions on 19 identified bogus operators. Cases have been registered under the Punjab Arms Ordinance of 1965, and legal proceedings are in progress to ensure that offenders are brought to justice.

Among the identified fake arms dealers are National Rifles Company, M/S Mokal Arms Company, English Arms Company, Outdoor Sports Arms and Ammunition, and Muhammad Akhtar Property Pak Arms Store, among others.

Additionally, several fake arms repair workshops, including A.A. Arms Repairing Workshop, Qasim Arms and Ammunition Dealers, and Muhammad Sufyan Repairing Workshop, are under scrutiny. The Home Department has reiterated its zero-tolerance policy towards illegal transactions involving arms. Officials have emphasized that strict action will be taken against individuals involved in unlawful arms trading and fabrication.
